People don’t always keep their promises. Maybe you promised to be at the graduation this month or to take the vacation that’s now been cancelled. Maybe there are promises you were able to keep, but you just didn’t.
God always keeps his promises. Always.
And he makes amazing promises. He promises to always love you, no matter how you fail or disappoint. He promises that, in Jesus, he’s removed your sins forever. He promises to be your perfect Father, Savior, and Comforter. He will never leave you or forsake you. He is with you always to guide, protect, and provide for you. He is making a special place for all his children in heaven. He will come back for us.
That’s just the beginning. Amazing promises. He keeps them.
“Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled” (Joshua 21:45).
“No matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ” (2 Corinthians 1:20).
