Helping Hands: In-Home Meals

One way to show love for our church family is to provide meals during various life events such as the birth of a baby, times of illness, while recovering from surgery, etc.

Helping Hands is a group of volunteers that provides meals via a meal train sign-up.  When a need arises, the Helping Hands coordinator will communicate with the group and organize the meal train, providing all necessary dietary and logistical information.

Meals don’t necessarily have to be homemade! Store-bought food, restaurant meals, and gift cards for meal delivery are also welcome contributions. You also do not have to provide a meal every time a meal train is needed!

If you are willing to provide a meal from time to time, please sign up HERE.

Helping Hands: Victory Celebration Refreshments

Additionally, when a member of our church family is called Home to heaven and the family would like to organize a reception, Helping Hands refreshment volunteers are called upon to supply items & assistance for the reception. This may include food, beverages, or set-up/serving/clean-up assistance.

When the need arises, the Helping Hands coordinator will contact you with the specific needs and requests from the family.  If you are willing to assist with this opportunity to show love during the difficult time of planning a funeral, please sign up HERE.
