Here’s an opportunity to show the selfless love of Christ in our community! Our Boise campus is partnering with the International Rescue Committee in Boise to learn about and support the needs of refugees in the Treasure Valley.
The International Rescue Committee is involved in World Refugee Day on Saturday, June 22, at the Grove Plaza in downtown Boise. The various organizations need help with set-up and tear-down; you could contribute by doing the following:
- 6:30 am: unloading & setting up tables & chairs
- 9:30 am – 1:30 pm: trash clean-up throughout the event
- 2:30 pm: taking down & loading up tables & chairs
If you’d like to volunteer for this event, please fill out the volunteer form HERE.

The IRC works to provide housing & immediate needs, language classes, cultural orientation, financial training, youth services, and more for those whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster. They do so for a relatively limited number of people through a thoroughly vetted and legal refugee resettlement program and process.
