Our Boise campus is partnering with the International Rescue Committee in Boise to learn about and support the needs of refugees in the Treasure Valley.

The IRC works to provide housing & immediate needs, language classes, cultural orientation, financial training, youth services, and more for those whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster. They do so for a relatively limited number of people through a thoroughly vetted and legal refugee resettlement program and process.

As they resettle refugees in our area, they often need home furnishings, particularly those listed below. If you’re doing some spring cleaning and might be able to provide an item on the list, call Patty (208-340-2720) at the IRC to learn more about the donation process!

  • bunk beds
  • mattresses (clean)
  • box springs
  • dining tables (4-6 seats)
  • table lamps
  • floor lamps
