Red Cross Blood Drive at Boise
Tuesday, May 14, 9am-3pm in the gym.
To make an appointment, go to redcrossblood.org and under “Find a Blood Drive” enter COCLUTHERAN.
…and we’re looking for a few folks to volunteer in support roles to help make it successful!
–> Could you assist for an hour or two? Volunteers will:
– welcome donors & ask them to self-screen according to an illness-symptom-list
– check donors in & provide them with the necessary pre-donation reading materials
– host donors post-donation in the refreshment area (thank them and keep an eye on them in case anyone feels faint)
– possibly assist with surface sanitizing as needed
–> Instructions are provided via document & video ahead of time, and Red Cross staff will provide onsite instruction and be available for questions throughout the drive.
None of it is difficult or complicated, and it provides the needed support for a successful drive AND the opportunity to show off our Cross of Christ hospitality! 🙂
