The Wetzels
My name is Kurt Wetzel. This is me with my wife, Stephanie, and our four kids: Teddy, Eva, Hannah, and Gloria. I’m one of the pastors at Cross of Christ, and I am thrilled to see what the future holds for our work in the Treasure Valley!
My family and I moved to the area after I graduated from seminary in 2016. We absolutely love this place and are proud to call it home. But it’s not just our house and the neighborhood; we love our church. Cross of Christ is one of the most welcoming places we’ve ever served or joined for worship. You can come as the real you and find love and community among other people who show you the real them. Best of all, we find comfort, truth, and amazing love in the message from God’s Word we hear every week. Cross of Christ is a place we’re proud to call home.
And the family’s growing! We’re branching out from our church in Boise and starting a second location in North Nampa. Services start November 24, the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We’ll be meeting at JaK*s Place Neighborhood Grill, a comfortable setting and a location that’s easy to find (just north of the Idaho Center on Birch Lane). Come as the real you. Find people who will show you the real them. And best of all, find comfort, truth, and amazing love. Settle in with Jesus and his family. Welcome home.
