Motivation

Is it hard to get motivated lately? Do you like what’s motivating you?

Fear is driving a lot of people right now. So is anger, frustration, and anxiety.

Would you like a better motivator? Try love. And not just any love. Christ’s love. It will compel you like nothing else. Do you know why? Because Christ gave himself for you. He died for you. He says you are worth so much to him that he’d be willing to shed his innocent blood for you. That means you can live with him without fear or anger in heaven forever.

What do you do when someone gives everything for you? You say thanks. You live for him. You let his love fill your heart and compel you for another day. You let his love flow through you to everyone around you.

That’s the best motivation ever.

“Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).
