In a Good Place

You may feel like you’re in a good place right now. You may not. Lots of people don’t. Would you like to be in a place that is always good, regardless of what your circumstances look like? You can be. It’s through baptism.

Baptism puts you in Christ. You’re in his sphere of power, influence, and love. Baptism makes you God’s child with your sins washed away forever and a place in his family. Baptism so closely connects you to your Savior it’s as if you’ve put Jesus on like clothes. You start to look like Jesus. You sound more like the Son of God. When God looks at you, he sees a child he delights in who will live with him forever.

In other words, if you’re baptized, you’re in a good place.

“So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ” (Galatians 3:26-27).
