It’s often easier to be grateful for the big things. They’re on your mind the most.
But we tend to find that the little things escape our attention, and we can forget to say thanks for them.
This Thanksgiving week, take time to focus on the big and the little things.
Your daughter’s smile. Frosted roofs early in the morning. A sip of hot coffee or tea. God didn’t have to give us the little things, but they do make life better.
Good health. An undying love from the God of the universe. Peace and forgiveness that last forever. God could have stuck to the little things, but he also gives us the big stuff.
Give thanks for both.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” (1 Chronicles 16:34).
We'd love to hear from you.
