What does Christmas mean? What does it mean that God became one of us?
What are the implications of having God come here, be born outdoors, and lie helpless in a manger?
What are we to make of the fact that God, as Jesus, lived through the worst pain and difficulty when he was on this earth?
What does Christmas mean? It means no matter who you are, what you’re going through, how much you hurt, or how deep the pain, Jesus can relate. He’s also a person who went through the same sort of thing.
He understands.
“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering” (Isaiah 53:4).
