The Christmas gifts last week had labels like that to make it clear who the gift was from and who it was for.
It’s nice to see a gift that says, “To: You.”
There’s a gift that didn’t make it under the tree this year, but it’s for you. It’s a present that wasn’t wrapped in shiny paper, but it’s still for you. It was given to many, but it is also personally for you.
In a manger in Bethlehem 2,000 years ago, a gift came wrapped in infant humanity. He is the Savior and the Lord. There wasn’t a label on the gift, so the angels came to announce who he came for.
To: You. From: God.
