Just think of it. Dream of an existence where our bodies don’t wear out—an existence without pain. Just imagine an existence with no more colds and no more Covid. No more tonsil removals or hip replacements. No more braces or pacemakers. No more cancer, diabetes, or Crohn’s Disease. No more sickness, no more cuts, and no more bruises. All of it swallowed up because death has been swallowed up. No more death!
Such an existence is possible. It’s real. Because of Jesus. Because of Easter!
Just imagine what it will be like.
“When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory’” (1 Corinthians 15:54).
