Are you enjoying the arrival of spring? There’s lots more color and new life to look at this time of year. The lawns are getting green, the trees are flowering, and the flowers are in bloom.
Jesus wants us to look at the flowers and notice something about ourselves.
Flowers are beautiful. They make people smile. They’re worth paying for. We love them.
Jesus says the same is true for you. Only so much more.
He made you beautiful. You make him smile. He paid for you with his own blood. He loves you.
Way more than flowers.
“See how the flowers of the field grow. . . . If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you?” (Matthew 6:28,30)
