Life is tiring. Doing good for others can get exhausting quickly. And, to be honest, we’re naturally pretty self-focused, so we need to be pushed a bit when it comes to loving others more.
Like the cowboy spurs kicking in the horse’s side to get his ride moving, we sometimes need to be spurred on. The Bible does this for us a lot.
And it’s good. Pushed to love others. Encouraged to do good. Constantly nudged in the right direction.
The world is so much better when it sees goodness and love. Let’s have the world see it in us.
