Who saves us? Jesus does. Who is Jesus? The one who suffered and died in our place. Gentle and kind as he willingly gave himself up for us.
But don’t be fooled. He’s no wimp. He’s mighty and powerful enough to bring himself back to life. He rules in heaven with majesty, glory, and almighty power.
The Bible calls him a lion. Also fierce, protective, and immensely strong.
Who saves us? One who is kind and gentle, yes. But also a lion!
“See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed.” (Revelation 5:5)
