A vacation. A good night’s sleep. Pouring ourselves in to a hobby. There are good ways to get rest.
But our hearts are often still anxious, and our souls unsettled.
So where can we find real, lasting, soul-satisfying rest?
Better than a vacation. Better than a hobby. A person: Jesus.
He’s the one who can fill our hearts and take off every burden. Come to him. Constantly. Deep breath. Sigh of relief.
You will find rest for your soul.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)
