There are certain famous names (contemporary and from history) that carry a lot of meaning. Who they are, what they’ve said and done, and what they stand for. A name can mean an awful lot.
How about God? What kind of meaning do his many names carry? They give us a better understanding of who he is, what he’s said and done, and what he stands for.
It’s all about you. He cares for you, he defends you, and he protects you. Because he wants you to be safe with him forever.
“The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10).
