Connect with Your Church Family: All-Church Activity Day
this Saturday, August 8 • 9:30-11:30am • held at the Boise campus
No prep, no mess, get out of the house and out of the heat & smoke, connect with some cool people!
For all ages; families can do things together or split up.
Come hang out for as long or as short as you would like; participate in multiple activities or stick with the one you like most.
Bake chocolate chip cookies with Morgan Webber
- Everything provided (including Hannah Burke’s recipe, 5 stars, highly recommend) — you just bring yourself.
- Enjoy the cookies as a snack for the morning or take a couple home!
- Feel free to bring a favorite recipe to share, if you’d like.
Sing-along with Pastor Burgess!
- Haven’t met Pastor B yet? Here’s a great chance! (Ask him about his college band.)
- Some kids’ songs and some grown-up songs — but actually no age limit on these songs!
Crafting for all ages with Katherine Jones
- Make a personalized journal for…school, work notes, Bible study, personal reflections, creative writing, ???
- Make a bookmark or two, or just get creative with paper and colors!
Kids’ activities with Miss K
- Roughly ages 3-10, younger with a parent okay.
- We will make, play, build, move, think, and imagine! Come and see.
Sports & games with Pastor Matt
- Get moving! Multiple games & sports to choose from.
- Outside if conditions are good, inside if we need to.
Book discussion and exchange with Taylor Drinkwalter
- Share a recent or a favorite read.
- Hear recommendations from others.
- Bring a book or two you’re done with and take a new one home!
