It’s often our privilege at Christmastime to receive a greater number of guests than usual for worship, and so we want to make a particular effort this season to help everyone who walks through our doors know that we’re glad they’re here.
Staying in town for Christmas? Be part of this special team! This Sunday Dec 22 through Jan 5. (Did you know? Families can serve together!)
Serve as…
- A greeter: Arrive a bit early before service, warmly welcome those who come through our doors, and hand out welcome gift bags after service. (You do not have to be able to identify who is a member and who is a visitor!)
- An usher: Arrive a bit early before service, hand out worship folders & light candles, help folks find seats if the chapel is getting full, be on duty through the service to assist worshipers in any way needed.
- A “refreshment specialist”: Christmas Eve only – restock & tidy the refreshments table between services or clean up after second service.
