You’re invited to join the Kuna/south Meridian mission church planting team in showing the love of Christ in their target community.
How?
- On Saturday, October 3, walk through pre-determined neighborhoods in the south Meridian/Kuna area dropping off grocery bags at doorsteps. That’s it! Easy.
- And/or on Saturday, October 10, walk through the same neighborhood and gather bags left for us to pick up. Just as easy! This time, though, we hope to meet curious people and perhaps have brief conversations about why we’re doing this. We’ll help you prepare your response, but again, it’s easy!
We hope to distribute 300 bags on October 3 and pick them up on October 10. On both days we’ll gather for brief instruction at 9am, begin our work shortly thereafter, and conclude by noon or earlier. A few pickup drivers could put their truck beds to use by hauling the bags to the Meridian Food Pantry at noon on Oct 10.
Our goal is to care for our neighbors and our prayer is to serve the people we meet through Cross of Christ, Messiah, or the new church plant.
