The Work

To be honest, it’s been a lot of work to get to this point. It’s been months and months of planning, meeting, hosting, connecting, teaching, and getting ready.

But who does the work of starting a church?

We could say it’s all the people who execute our plans, meet with people, and get our message out. And that’s true.

But the real work, actually, isn’t anything we do at all. The real work is the stuff no one can see, but the results are out-of-this-world.

The real work is done by God. God alone can change people’s lives by changing their hearts. God alone adopts people into his family and welcomes them home in his house. God alone makes people really alive and gives them a peace that transcends all understanding. God alone sets our purpose and fulfills us in life. God alone can save us.

That’s a lot of work, and God does it all for us!

That makes our work pretty fun. The biggest thing has already been done. We just get to tell people about it. Come hear about the finished work of God for us. Join us for worship every Sunday at 9:30 am at JaK*s Place Neighborhood Grill.

We won’t put you to work. You’ll just hear about work that’s done for you. And that’s good news!
