Waiting for packages to arrive. Waiting for the worst of the virus to pass. Waiting for a loved one to get better. Waiting for summer. Waiting for businesses to reopen. Waiting for government direction and updated requirements. Waiting to return to corporate worship. Waiting for heaven. Waiting on the Lord.
While we wait, see the Lord’s faithfulness. Know his compassions which never fail. They’re new again today.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him’” (Lamentations 3:22-24).
