Are you blessed? Would you like to be more blessed? Would you like to be happier amid sadness and uncertainty?
Go to the Bible. Seriously. It’s God’s Word of life, and that’s where blessings come from. It changes our hearts and guides us in life through the happy and sad, the certain and uncertain times.
Make God’s Word your delight from morning to night. Take quiet time to mull it over and meditate on it. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and shelter-in-place, you’ll find it’s the best at making you blessed.
“Blessed [happy] is the one . . . whose delight is in the law [the Word] of the Lord, and who meditates on his law [his Word] day and night” (Psalm 1:1-2).
P.S. If you’d like to get more of God’s Word, but you’re not sure where to start, try starting with these passages: Psalm 23; Matthew 6:25-34; Ephesians 2:1-10; Exodus 20:1-17; Jeremiah 31:31-34; Matthew 11:28-30; Psalm 42.
We'd love to hear from you.
