Will this last forever? Some of the restrictions are starting to ease, but we’re not out of the woods yet with social distancing, plans cancelled, and lots of uncertainty. Does it feel like this is dragging on forever?
In the moment, times of trial and pain feel like they will last forever. But they won’t. This, too, shall pass. The tough part is waiting and getting through it.
Do you know what helps get through it? Knowing what does last forever. God’s love endures forever. His faithfulness last for eternity. Heaven with God, by believing in Jesus, will never, ever end.
God’s love is forever. His love gets us through until we are with him forever.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” (1 Chronicles 16:34).
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” (Psalm 23:6).
