Life’s different for a lot of people. What you find yourself doing might be different, too. Maybe you don’t feel as useful as you used to. Maybe you think you aren’t making a difference. Maybe you wonder whether you matter.
When we do something out of love for God—whether big, small, or something in between—he says he loves it. He sees it. He values it. And he says it matters. Anything we do for anyone else in life, when we love God, is really done for him.
Did you call your mom on Mother’s Day? Did you read your kids a book recently? Did you send an email to check in on a friend? Whether big, small, or something in between, God saw it. He values it. And he says it matters.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40).
