It seems the unrest in America is only getting worse. Week after week there are new causes for rage and heightened tensions. It’s sad. It’s frustrating. And it’s exhausting.
We can’t fix every problem with the world, and there’s no guarantee that things will simmer down any time soon. But you can find rest. Real, refreshing, satisfying rest. It’s a rest for your soul that only Jesus can give.
Listen to his words of acceptance and forgiveness. Treasure his promises. See the work he’s done for you so you can be with him forever. The cross and empty tomb are proof that he’s done it all.
Amid the unrest we’re living through, come to Jesus and find lasting rest.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
