Kindness seems to be more and more rare. Whether digitally or face-to-face, there’s a growing comfortability with being nasty and taking things in the worst possible way. To the point that some businesses actually adjust the cost of things like a cup of coffee based on how rudely or politely the customer placed the order.
We need kindness. Our world needs compassion and understanding. It works so much better when we try to understand and take someone else’s words and actions in the kindest possible way. Because we all need forgiveness. A lot of forgiveness.
And God was kind to us. We were awful, but he loved us. He gave his Son to forgive us. To give the world what it so desperately needs.
Where can you spread that kindness and forgiveness today?
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32).
We'd love to hear from you.
