Friendship is important. Studies reveal, though, that less and less people have friends. Real, close, there-for-you-when-you-need-them friends.
If you don’t have a close friend, you need one. And there’s one you need most of all. He’s the friend who will always be there for you. The friend who cares when you’re hurting and laughs with you when you’re happy. The friend who will do anything for you. Even die for you.
You can be friends with God. He calls you his friend because he likes you a lot.
“I have called you friends” (John 15:15).
