Honor is a dignity scarcely given. It seems we’re trained to complain and criticize, rather than honor and obey.
God knows our world needs people giving each other a whole lot more honor and respect. So where does it start? With kids. Children can be the shining example of granting dignity and respect to others by the way they interact with their parents. And when it starts early in life, it extends to all other aspects of life.
In a world full of hate, disrespect, and rebellion, you can be a shining light that reflects something so much better. There is beauty in honor.
“Honor your father and your mother” (Exodus 20:12).
