Today, on Veterans Day, we thank God for peace in our land. We come with grateful hearts to give thanks for the prosperity and blessings we enjoy in our country.
We thank God for the brave men and women who have served our country, fought oversees, and even gave their lives in service.
We ask God to be with all our veterans and their families. Especially for those facing trauma or anxiety, we ask God to give them the peace and comfort only he can provide.
We look to the Lord of heaven and earth to be with the families of those who lost a loved one or who have a loved one away from home while serving in other places. May he provide for them well and work through us to show them love and support.
We come before our gracious Savior and ask him to continue to bless our nation and grant us peace.
May we always remember with gratitude and humility those who have given so much for us. Today, we remember to say thanks for our veterans.
“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us” (Psalm 67:1).
