Does God absolutely amaze you? Are you thrilled to be in his presence? Wowed by his goodness, his power, his majesty, his holiness, his beauty?
If not, it’s probably because you see God as some small version of a deity and not the real God.
He’s glorious. He fills the universe. He’s perfectly just. He threw the stars into existence.
And he sees you. He knows your heart. He was willing to become nothing to give you everything. He is the ultimate being and the source of all that is good. And he wants to be with you forever. This amazing God calls you personally by name.
Are you wowed?
“You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!” (Psalm 68:35).
