Thank the Trinity for St. Patrick

He loved to talk about God. Especially the fact that God is three and one at the same time. It’s confusing, but it’s amazing and true. It’s called the Trinity.

When St. Patrick talked to people in Ireland about the God who loves everyone and saved us, he told them about the Trinity.

It means that God is one and unchanging. At the same time, he’s three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In and of himself, God is a community of diversity and love. All in one. He’s a mystery, and he is so cool.

Just think of how many people in Ireland, from Ireland, or whose ancestors were from Ireland will be in heaven because God sent Patrick there. To tell them about the Trinity. A God of love.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all” (2 Corinthians 13:14).

We'd love to hear from you.
