Looking up at the stars on a clear night is awe-inspiring. It also impresses on you just how huge the universe is. And it can make you feel so small.
There are lots of things in life that make us feel small. That’s okay.
Compared to this vast universe, you and your tiny little heart that gets crushed and broken—you are still seen by God. The Lord knows you. He knows what you’re feeling.
He’ll bind up your little heart. Because through all the vastness of the universe, he still sees you.
And he loves you.
“[The Lord] heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.” (Psalm 147:3-4)
