To be with God forever is no small thing. Going to heaven isn’t a right we’re born with. Us having everything perfect forever doesn’t happen easily.
At least not for Jesus. But he does make it easy for us.
Jesus took the punishment. Jesus suffered in our place. Jesus completed all that is necessary for us to be with God forever.
Now for us, he says, “Believe it. Receive it. It’s all yours!”
Could it really be that easy?
Yes. Because there is no other way. If we took on even 1% of the work needed for us to be saved, we would still be woefully insufficient. So Jesus did it all. 100% It’s the only way.
Easy? Not for Jesus. But it is for us.
Believe it. You’ll live forever.
“God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
