What if you could be loved, no matter what? What if you could be accepted and cherished right here, right now, despite every failure and regret? What if someone would be willing to face even the deepest hurt and betrayal from you and still be 100% committed to you and your well-being? What if you could be loved fully, unconditionally, without having to earn it?
Do you know what that would mean? It would mean grace is real.
Jesus loved you when you were unlovable. He saved you when you were lost. He came to you when you would never have come to him. He knows you fully, including all the bad, and he doesn’t turn away. He knows how you will fail him in the future, and he will never give up on you. His heart and his affection are fully devoted to your well-being, no matter what. Jesus is proof that grace is real.
And if grace is real, you are loved. No matter what.
“It is by grace you have been saved.” (Ephesians 2:8)
