We could actually come back to life? We can get another life after this one? A better one? Even though we die, we can really live again?
If the resurrection of the dead was real, do you know what that would mean?
It would mean everything is headed toward that. This life is not the end. And yet, this life has meaning—connected to the one that is to come. Our bodies won’t simply rot in the grave. We’ll get them back, only so much better.
Rejecting Jesus is a scary thing. But believing in him makes all the difference in the world. When you have him, you get life back. Life in this body. Only a perfect one.
The proof? Jesus rose from the dead.
He was first. We’re next.
“Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” (1 Corinthians 15:20)
