Take a few moments. Pause and think about little things in life. Things that are simple and easy to forget. Yet important. Helpful. Good. Little things that give us joy.
The funny meme your friend sent you. The toast with just the right amount of butter. The sunshine coming through the window. Your new shoes. Your wife’s kiss. A deep breath of fresh air.
God gives you the little things. Because he cares about you. And he likes little things, too.
Thanking God for the little things can be a powerful way to find peace during the day.
And it makes us even more grateful for the big things he also gives us.
