Who’s going to be the one in your life? The one boss you want to work for your whole career. The one special someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. The one you’ll entrust your financial planning to. It’s a big deal to pick the one for important life matters.
How about the one who will sustain you when you’re gray and getting weak? Who will be the one to rescue you in times when no one else can? Who will be your confidant, your support, and your strength when life makes no sense, and you feel you can’t keep going?
Be careful how you answer. These are impossible things to ask of any one person. Unless that person is God.
God made you; he won’t forsake you. God possesses all strength and power; he will sustain you and lift you up. God loves you; he will rescue you. God gave his Son for you; he says you’re worth it.
He’s the one.
“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you” (Isaiah 46:4).
We'd love to hear from you.
