Help

Let’s face it. There’s plenty of stuff we just can’t do on our own. Maybe we need help with mechanic work, buying a house, or setting up tech equipment. It’s okay to need help. It’s okay to ask for help. It’s smart to know your limitations and get assistance when you’re in over your head.

Let’s face it. There are even bigger things that we also can’t do on our own. Maybe we need help dealing with guilt, feeling totally overwhelmed, or finding a little bit of peace in life. It’s okay to need help with those things, too. Everyone does. And it’s okay to ask for help. It’s smart to know your spiritual limitations and get assistance from someone who can really help.

Where does that help come from? The Lord. Who is the one strong enough to overcome your limitations? The Maker of heaven and earth. How do you know you can call on him and he will help? The cross. If he would do that to save you, he’ll do anything to help.

“Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:1-2).

We'd love to hear from you.
