Though I Struggle Right Now

If you’re a Christian and you’re struggling right now, please read this. If you’re not a Christian and you’re struggling right now, please read this, too. And know that believing in Jesus will make this true for you as well.

I am having a hard time, but my struggle doesn’t define me.

I can, at times, feel lost, but Jesus has found me.

I am often so weak, but my Savior is right here with me, and he is strong in my place.

I don’t know what’s going to happen in the coming days and years, but God knows all things and will make it all okay.

I feel so small at times, wishing I was better, but the Lord of heaven loves me where I am right now and will work in me to help me grow.

I usually look back on my day with guilt and embarrassment, but God is proud of me and calls me his forgiven child.

I am sometimes so alone, but Jesus is always with me.

I am sometimes scared, but Jesus will keep me safe.

I am sometimes rude, whiny, and unlovable, but Jesus will never stop loving and accepting me.

I am having a hard time, but this isn’t how it will always be. God is preparing wonderful things in heaven for me. This is a tough season I’m getting through. Heaven will be forever. Everything sad will be over and everything good will finally be here. Life will be endlessly fulfilling.

Though I struggle right now, I know I’m going to be okay. I’m just dealing with some hard stuff for now until Jesus takes me home.
