Less Talk, More Prudence

If you know it, say it. If you have an opinion, share it. If you have something to say, speak up.

Well, not always.

Sometimes it’s better to talk less. Sometimes it’s wiser to keep things to yourself. Sometimes the group doesn’t need more opinions and more chatter. Sometimes more words only lead to foolishness and folly.

For most of us, it would probably be okay if we talked less. It might just make us more prudent.

“The prudent keep their knowledge to themselves, but a fool’s heart blurts out folly” (Proverbs 12:23).
