When it comes to the way people tend to see God, it’s often not the problem that they see him as too big. They usually see him as too small.
Too small to really understand what you’re going through. Too small to help you with the issues in your family. Too small to change your health. Too small to [fill in the blank].
If that’s how you view God, you aren’t believing in the real God. The true God is a much bigger God.
Big enough to understand. Big enough to deal with the tough stuff. Big enough to really change things.
How do you know? Because he’s big enough to save you.
And that was the biggest problem of all.
“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! . . . For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen” (Romans 11:33,36).
