After the shooting in Boise, Lord, we come before you on behalf of those affected and our
community. When we see evil and tragedy, we ask you to bring healing and hope to our broken world. Be close
to the injured and the families of those who were killed. Help us see that you will come one day to make all things
right. Until then, work amid the sadness and the pain. Bring comfort to those who mourn. Give our communities peace. We ask this knowing that, at Jesus’ cross, you showed your power to transform evil into something profoundly good. So we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
