Lord, in the Bible, you tell us to stand up for the oppressed and speak up for those who cannot defend themselves. You also tell us that every human life begins at conception. You wonderfully knit each of us together in our mother’s womb. Graciously watch over and protect the life of every unborn baby. Have mercy on us and our nation for the sin of abortion. Work through our leaders and our courts to bring justice and protection for all people, including the unborn. God, you gave your Son for the world, and you want all people to hear the gospel and be saved. Let the youngest among us live. Amen.
