Okay to be small

Big and flashy. That’s what most people want. But sometimes the best things are small and seemingly ordinary.

Some of the best people don’t appear larger-than-life, but they are.

Bethlehem was a little town. The child the wise men came to worship didn’t appear very important. But they went to little old Bethlehem and worshiped Jesus anyway.

Because he happens to be the King of the nations and the King of the universe. He just didn’t look like it.

It’s okay to be small.

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times” (Micah 5:2).
