What if God is real?

So much of the world insists he isn’t. And banking on it.

But what if God is real?

You know, God who is holy and powerful, just and good, loving and saving?

Then there would truly be a higher power who sets the terms of reality. Who knows what is best for life. Who is the reason our hearts long for justice and equality. Who is the very source of love. Who won’t leave us to the ways we’ve messed things up, but personally comes to rescue us.

The real question is: What if God wasn’t real? If he wasn’t, then we’d have none of those things.

Thank God he is real.

“Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.” (Psalm 100:3)
