When we think of love, it’s usually in terms of feelings and actions. Emotions and
interactions between people.
But something we wear? Like clothes? People usually don’t talk that way. But the Bible
does.
Love is something we can surround ourselves with. Something that clothes us. Something
others can’t help but see when they look at us and interact with us.
God is love. When we think, speak, act, and interact in ways that are saturated with
love—so surrounded by love as if we’re wrapped up in it—
Well, then when people putting on love—wearing it, they’ll get a glimpse of God himself.
“And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
(Colossians 3:14)
